Vintage tin milk can

This is a card using some of the new dies from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The flowers collection has been designed by Susan Tierney Cockburn. The vintage milk can is part of my childhood memories at my uncle farm, we used to paint those with old paint found in the garage. We would also harvest the feverfew flowers and leaves to make tea.

Fall’s Great Lesson!

Every fall I feel it’s hard to see the days get shorter, the warm sun disappear and the cold rain setting in. Than again Mother Nature puts on a great show with all the colors changing in the trees. We get inside to prepare some warm meal in the slow cooker with the many wonderful vegetables ready to be harvest and our home smells like happiness. I found a quote from an anonymous writer that capture my present state of mind: ” The trees are about to show us how lovely it is to let things go…” It inspired this card and I hope you’ll like it.

For Alicia that we are waiting for eagerly !

On this wonderful June morning, we are so happy to say that our familly will grow this fall with a new baby girl, Alicia. She will join a very happy and rich familly with 4 grand-sons and 2 grand-daughters. How much beautiful moments are to come on the beach at cottage, on Christmas morning, cooking cookies in my kitchen or making cards in my craftrooms ?

For you Alicia, roses flowers and a firefly,

Looking forward to meet you,
Didi
